We are currently installing 2 power stations on Kiritimati (Christmas Island). Kiritimati is part of the Republic of Kiribati.
The project is well underway with power stations in London and banana just waiting on the solar array and Gensets to turn up.
Kiritimati is a coral atoll just in the Northern Hemisphere. It's north east of Nadi. 4 hours on a Fiji Airways Flight that goes once a week on Wednesdays !!
Infratec have the head contract and are installing the High Voltage Networks around the Island. Both stations are Greenfields with some of the Gensets existing which will make for an interesting project. Generation will be a mixture of Solar and Diesel Generation.
The funds and general requirements are coming from the European Union but the project is otherwise Design and Build.
