Design

We have broad and extensive experience in many areas of industrial automation and control - from Potable and waste water to plastic extrusion and manufacturing lines.

On many of the larger projects the initial design is undertaken by consultancy companies. This is normally limited to schedules and generic drawings. We then need to fully detail the project by producing wiring drawings and schedules for all equipment.

For the Tamavua & Waila Water Treatment Plant project we produced 412 x A3 Drawings.

There are other projects where we fully design the electrical and control system. Working with the client to determine the required outcomes we obtain details of appropriate equipment and produce a one stop turnkey automation solution

As much of our work is generated through the tender process we have developed the ability to purchase quality equipment at very good rates. This allows us to be very cost effective.

  • POAL Gangway

The ships keep getting bigger and so do the gangways. This new gangway, when connected to a docked ship, automatically rises and falls with the tide. An Allen Bradley Control System, Screen and VSD’s ensures smooth operation. The gangway travels up and Down princess Wharf using a generator, when in position it connects to shore power. Compliance and safety have been a very important part of the project. The head contractor was Service Engineers and the Consultant BECA.
